Thanks for your comment, Jo! Glad to hear you had a good Christmas, sorry to hear about the cough. Yeah, there are days when just getting out of bed is a victory. Though right now it sounds like you'd be better tucked in abed nd staying warm!
So inspiring. We celebrated Christmas on the 28th when family arrived from the mainland. With two young ones keeping us busy, we won't make it to midnight tonight, but I wish you all the best in 2025.
Marlet, thanks for your response! Yes, the actual isn't so important as the people sharing it.
I did laugh when I read where you say that young ones will keep you from making it until midnight. In my community of vintage folks here, we have been known to declare that 8:00 is Pender midnight!
Love the phrase “bigger better,” and not because I want it in my life but as a reminder to aim for less. Happy New Year! Keep these inspiring, fun, and kind posts coming.
Thanks, Joy! The notion of someone having a "better bigger" is one of those phrases that heartened me, I think because it seemed to accurately identify something that had been making me uncomfortable. It's like a camera zooming out. Once I could see the shape, it gave the emotional tools to deal with it. if that makes sense.
Thank you Zoe! Our Christmas was a good one with family around. Then on the 28th a bad cough started, first in years, not much sparkliness right now but I love the word! We all need it! Happy New Year to you!
